Michel Bettane: Good color, spicy nose, middleweight, nice texture, slightly dry on the finish, but pleasant and not lacking finesse. 16.5

Thierry Desseauve: Garnet, very oaky, classy, fine but not very powerful. 16

Michael Schuster: Ripe and oaky to smell; a subtle Margaux fruit, which is dried and pinched by the new-oak tannin; a pity, because the core fruit is very nice. Current balance is very long-term, but I’m not sure the fruit will ever overcome the tannin. 2022–32? 15
