BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Some bitterness, big body, with huge, rustic tannins, which are on the dry side; not very refined. 14

Thierry Desseauve: Aggressive tannins and supple body; not the ideal combination... 13

Michael Schuster: Nice, ripe, straightforward nose, but on the palate the fruit is dominated by a very dry new-wood texture that completely parches the overall impression and the finish. For me, at least, this is an overwooded wine, and I suspect that it will always be astringent. 12?
