BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin | Mid-ruby/purple. Spice and clove on the nose, red fruits, sweet oak. Bramble and blackberry, sweet oak, fleshy, well balanced, good acidity. A well-balanced wine with subtle oak integration, medium weight, and nice length. Poised and complete, with a lovely combination of fruit sweetness, acidity, and oak. | 17.5

Alex Hunt | Youthful color, but not really a fruit-driven nose: more tarry and medicinal—vitamin pills. Dry and rather bare on the palate; not enough fruit, flesh, or nuance here. | 12

Stephan Reinhardt | Dark and dense ruby. Very ripe fruit flavors, rather plummy and slightly burned. Sweet and powerful on the palate, quite silky and well balanced, but lacks complexity. | 15.5
