BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin | Mid-ruby red, with some development at the rim. Some reduction on the nose, but this is a complex wine. Mid-weight, refreshing, balanced, with crunchy red fruits, little or no (new) oak and refreshing minerality. Classy winemaking, with understated intensity. | 17

Alex Hunt | Green, resinous oak dominates the nose. There’s some attractive red fruit in here somewhere, but it is swamped by foxy/piney/ potpourri notes that don’t belong. | 12

Stephan Reinhardt | Dark ruby, unfiltered. Interesting nose that speaks more of Carmenère than of Blaufränkisch at the moment. Slightly greenish cassis aromas. Firmly structured, quite green and pure, apparently due to stems during the fermentation. Not that complex, yet authentic. | 16
