BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin | Dense, compact ruby/purple. Savory, mineral, focused nose. Very chalky. Palate similarly fresh and nuanced, with brightness, vivacity, and concentration. Slight bitterness, with a saline note, good focus and freshness on the palate. Alcohol a little higher than one expects. | 16.5

Alex Hunt | Soupy, diffuse, alcoholic nose, with some tarry blueberry-jam notes. Leaner and more poised on the palate than expected, with quite a lot of spice but still prominent alcohol. | 13.5

Stephan Reinhardt | Deep and dark ruby. Very ripe and intense fruit flavors in combination with woody aromas; rather plummy, lots of oak and chocolate. Sweet and rich on the palate but also drying out in the finish. Very powerful and rich, with quite burned fruit flavors. Very big. | 15.5
