BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin | Dense, concentrated color. Faintly overripe, jammy nose. Big, bold, and very Barossa, with high alcohol, overripe fruit, high acidity, and that hollowness. The alcohol is marked on the finish of the wine, too. | 12

Alex Hunt | A very rich, oak-dominated style on the nose, with intense cassis/blackberry-jam fruit and an element of tar. While a bit of a bruiser in the mouth, it is coherent, with acid-balancing fruit, and alcohol in check. | 15

Stephan Reinhardt | Dark ruby color. Very pure and intense in fruit and alcohol at the same time. Silky textured, well balanced, big body; some coconut aromas (due to barrels?); very good length due to its power. Needs some years. | 16
