BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin | Mid-ruby/red. Youthful. Sweet, aromatic, rose-petal perfume. Pleasant, soft, and fruity, with some wild-strawberry notes, but on the light side with a slight lack of profundity. Savory, good acidity, but faintly confected. | 14

Alex Hunt | Unusual and off-putting nose: vivid red peppers and cream—a bad combination. Sour, vegetal flavors despite a certain richness and charm when it comes to texture. | 11

Stephan Reinhardt | Mid-purple. Pure ripe-fruit flavors, quite fresh, earthy/stony aromas on the nose. Silky textured, rich, very powerful but well balanced, and with good length and lots of chocolate on the finish, if not that complex. | 16
