Stephen Brook | Bright lime nose, aromatic. Fresh but juicy, concentrated, and lush, with a good balance between fruit and acidity. Solid without being heavy, and a piquant mid-palate keeps it lively. Quite long. Delicious if not hugely complex. | 17
Andrew Jefford | Light gold in color. Very attractive scents of crystallized fruits; there’s a moist doughiness behind, too... Alsace-like, and just a hint of hop bract. As usual in this tasting, the repertoire is restrained, subtle—but this is a wine with an excellent aromatic spectrum. On the palate, this is fresh, limpid, with lovely fruit architecture—a touch of blood orange and the kind of autumnal richness of flavor you get from a great heritage apple variety brought freshly to market. First-class. I’d love to sip this all morning. | 17
Stephan Reinhardt | Pale yellow. Ripe and dried apples, as well as raisins, on the clear and slightly spicy nose. A mouthful of Riesling: ripe, sweet Riesling flavors, elegant, well balanced and minerally structured, a salty impression in the aftertaste; very appetizing, very good integration of the acidity. Reductive style. Will become better and better in the years to come. | 16
