Stephen Brook | Pretty, appley nose. The palate is richer than the nose, with some creaminess of texture. Quite concentrated and sleek, and while it has sufficient acidity, it lacks a little lift and drive. Juicy and appealing but not a wine with much structure, which doesn’t matter if it is drunk fairly young. Quite long. | 15
Andrew Jefford | Clean silver-gold in color. Aromatically restrained, with the allusions poised somewhere between classic summer orchard scents and new-car fascia (the scent of a hire car). On the palate, this is full, vinous, expressive—a slightly richer, more developed wine than its small-island peers. I like its flavor development (dessert apple, peach, and nectarine) and its vinous structure. With more aromatic finesse, this would unhook a good score, and it seems as if it comes from Riesling-happy vineyards. | 14.5
Stephan Reinhardt | Very pale color. Very clear and pure on the nose, refined fruit aromas, reductive style. Mineral impression on the palate, very elegant in texture and structure, very Riesling; has finesse and a harmonic acidity; very good length without too much power. A rather classic, and slightly mature, Riesling. | 15
