Stephen Brook | Ripe apple-and-passion-fruit nose. Lively attack, fresh and racy, with a crisp texture. Delicate and balanced, with an engaging sweet-and-sour tone on the mid-palate. A touch simple, but well made, with slight austerity on the finish. Medium length. | 16
Andrew Jefford | Pale; the silver side of gold. Fresh and clean and spotless, but as a drinker I’d like a little more aromatic generosity. What fruit there is is like smelling a freshly cut slice of apple; pleasant, but not exquisite. On the palate, there’s more development than the aromas suggested: lots of clean apple, grape, and early-season nectarine, with a little non-fruit tingle that suggests the beginning of minerality. Lean but rewarding; decent finishing length. With more developed aromas (perhaps they will come with time), this would merit a very good score. | 15
Stephan Reinhardt | Citrus color. Aromatic on the nose (designed aromas rather than natural ones), clear, clean and cold-fermented, reductive style, a touch of tropical Sauvignon Blanc flavors. Very well done on the palate: aromatic, quite juicy, classy acidity, full-bodied and refreshing. | 14
