Stephen Brook | Lush lime nose. Rich and juicy and one of the few wines with a discernible trace of residual sugar, though it’s far from sweet. But that does detract from the purity and crispness of the fruit. The finish is surprisingly austere, so that sugar may be there to cut the acidity and grip. Not harmonious yet, and it doesn’t show much finesse. Quite long, with a citric finish. | 14.5
Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. Lots of developed autumn apple here, with an attractive sweet edge to it; just a little bit sweaty, too, though. On the palate, it is full, pure, artless, straightforward, and satisfying, with plenty of palate wealth. Not a showstopper, but no one will feel short-changed by this. | 14
Stephan Reinhardt | Pale to mid-gold. Yellow apples and some earthy aromas on the nose. Very precise and pure on the palate, concise acidity, mineral from the beginning to the aftertaste; well-balanced, well-coated power. Still very young but full of hope. | 16.5
