Stephen Brook | Citric nose, ripe grapefruit. Fairly rich and suave, juicy and textured, with moderate acidity. Good fruit but a rather solid style with little energy and few nuances. Straightforward but not very exciting. | 14.5

Andrew Jefford | Mid-gold in color. Warm, powdery, gently fruited; a touch of cardamom to lend the apple basket its interest. Bright and full, but this is another dry Riesling just beginning to drift into a kind of fattiness or oiliness of texture. The fruits aren’t hugely detailed, either—but they are there, and it has delicious grapefruit pithiness at the end. | 14

Stephan Reinhardt | Pale yellow. Green and yellow apples on the nose, clear, some nice citrus aromas, rather subtle. Very elegant and round on the attack, but then quite powerful (I get the bitterness of the alcohol very soon), whereas the finish is unbalanced: too harsh in the phenolics (green apples), dries the palate, unharmonious acidity. | 14
