BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook | Muted nose, mild with hints of exotic fruit. Fairly rich and suave, quite concentrated, solidly fruity, yet with some underlying minerality. There’s not much vigor, and this may be tiring, or perhaps it didn’t have that much fire and energy in the first place. | 14

Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. A little bit sweetly soapy after all the aromatic restraint and finesse we have been treated to. On the palate, too, it is a little short and brittle. Lots of clean lime juice, though, and not without a direct primary charm. Still a good bottle of Riesling on anyone’s chart. | 13

Stephan Reinhardt | Pale gold. Citrus aromas, slightly powdery. Rather lean and elegant on the palate, lots of citrus flavors, very reductive, somewhat aggressive. Not very complex. | 14.5
