BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook | Delicate appley nose, a bit skinny. Fresh, lean, and light, with firm acidity and a slight sour tone. This is angular and not particularly ripe. Medium length. | 12

Andrew Jefford | Pale silver-gold. This is different: much less apple and citrus, much more pure green grape, with some sweet-hay complexities. An elegant and rewarding aromatic profile. Raw and lean on the palate, though. Scrub the grape, and resketch in green apple. Would a slightly later pick have been worthwhile? This seems halfway between verjus and wine. I’m sure it has its fans, but it’s just a little acidic/raw for me. | 12

Stephan Reinhardt | Pale gold. Rhubarb and lime on the nose; attractive but far from complex. Extremely sour, reductive, and sour on the palate. Screwcapped, I suspect. Where will this go from here? | 13.5
