BUY THE WINE

Essi Avellan | Deep lemon-gold color. Evolving, petrol-scented, sweet, ripe potpourri-and-perfume nose. Strong, firm, expressive, and explosive on the palate, with high acidity and length. Succulent and zesty. Still holding back and deserves to be given time, which it should certainly reward. | 17

Marcel Orford-Williams | Lovely fruit here. Good nose, fine fruit —gorgeous, in fact. Ripe and sunny, but with well-marked acidity. Nicely etched and long on the finish. Limestone, methinks. | 18

Tom Stevenson | Has the fatness and richness of a sun-baked mountain vineyard. Ready to drink now, but really needs a heck of a lot more bottle age. | 17
