BUY THE WINE

Neil Beckett: Another exceptional village wine from very old vines. Pale, bright green-gold. Clean on the nose, with a beguiling, light exoticism to the fruit. Despite the slight spritz in this tank sample, the old-vine cremosity and density are clearly there underneath, and there is exceptional purity of fruit for a wine at this early stage and in this still-unfinished state, which promises well. The acidity rises and shines on the finish. 16
