Neil Beckett: Castle by name, and castle by nature, especially in this solid vintage, but elegant and soaring rather than rude and squat. Clean but still subdued on the nose. Fuller and richer than the Preuses, as it should be, with greater depth and stuffing from this old-vine parcel at the heart of the cru. Very complete grand cru Chablis, showing both richness and refinement on the long finish. 18
