Michael Schuster: Pale red; closed—a very faintly reductive sample—but with a fresh red fruit that is clear and pristine; a rich middleweight, fresh and almost imperceptibly tannic; sweet, supple, almost juicy in flavor, with a wonderful purity and delineation; long to taste, prolonged and resonantly fruit-fragrant to finish. Here, too, remarkably fine for the basic appellation. A bit more fat, flesh, and ripeness than the La Colombière. 2019–30+. 16.5+/17
