Michael Schuster: Mid-red; intense, ripe red cherry and faintly oak-smoky, persistent nose; concentrated, vital middleweight with a very delicately fine tannin; crisply ripe fruit of very nice depth, long and vibrant to taste, with a beautifully vivid acidity defining the ripe fruit; gentle premier cru raciness, complexity, and with splendid fruit-dominated length. A touch richer and fleshier than the Grand Vignes. Such finesse and fragrance: archetypal Vosne-Romanée. 2018–35+. 17.5+
