Neil Beckett: Another brilliant example, and one that makes it hard to understand why this grand cru doesn’t enjoy a higher reputation than it does. Medium-deep ruby. Already an exciting nose, darkly fruited but perfectly poised between floral elegance and spice. Very fine-grain tannins, silky and supple, with the balance, elegance, and freshness to make this another outstanding prospect. 18.5
