Neil Beckett: This small parcel (0.5ha [1.2 acres]) has been bottled separately from the Beaune Premier Cru Cent Vignes for the first time this vintage, and it certainly merits it on this showing. While the Cent Vignes is also very good, this wine, from historically highly rated Fèves, slightly higher up the slope, has greater restraint but also greater refinement: definition, focus, and intensity, without any loss of subtlety. A brilliant debut. Encore! 16.5
