Neil Beckett: Lemon gold, a shade deeper than the Pucelle. Slightly deeper, headier, richer nose, candied citrus, but the same alluring purity and transparency. Similarly on the palate, more immediately expressive, broader, richer in texture, but with even greater animating acidity and energy underneath, so there is greater weight but not greater inertia, and perhaps an even greater top speed, since this fairly roars away on the long, strong finish. Harmonious, rich, but racy at the same time. Exciting white Burgundy, exciting wine. 17.5
