Michael Edwards: Outstanding elegance and finesse here, allied to depth of flavor from fine-boned structure. From predominantly limestone soils, there are aromatics of wild cherry and mineral grip. Splendid mouthfeel, long and linear, with ripe tannins and multitoned flavors. Restrained use of wood—and both very different, and better, than the more new-oaked and dearer Les Grands Prétans. Extraordinary value. 17.5+
