Richard Mayson: ripe and taut on the nose with apricots and peaches; similarly taut (old-vine) minerally fruit on the palate, with creamy new oak in the background leading to a fine, tight-knit yet ripe finish. Lovely length and depth of flavor with space to develop in bottle. A good expression of Douro terroir, I think. 18

Charles Metcalfe: Interesting, quite complex nose, with mango, lanoline, and honey notes. Lovely wine, crisp, mineral, and fresh, with some complexity, a touch of barrel-fermentation texture, and interesting citrus and mango fruit. 16

Joanna Simon: Fresh, appley, dill-like aromas. Crisp, taut green fruit on the palate, with herbal savory notes. Chalky, fine texture, with finely chiseled acidity. Concentrated, young, promising. 17.5
