Richard Mayson: restrained on the nose, withdrawn perhaps, soft and gentle with underlying creamy fruit; much more on the palate, lovely, gentle, stony fruit, with the ripeness to back it up, leading to a finely balanced finish. restrained overall, needing a bit more time to reveal itself. 17

Charles Metcalfe: very particular nose—reminds me of some sort of fruit sweet, with a little reduction as well. Creamy texture, possibly with some old-wood treatment, and bright acidity, quite complex flavors. very interesting wine, definitely out of the ordinary. good balance. 16

Joanna Simon: Smoky, wheaty oak on sappy hay and apple aromas. Fine-structured, elegant palate with effortlessly fresh, spicy, orchard fruit, precise acidity, and oak that gives depth and texture. A wine of great clarity. 17
