Richard Mayson: Ripe yet restrained aromas, zesty citrussy flavors with a backdrop of creamy new oak, very well balanced for a warm-country white, with a lovely, savory, lemon-butter finish. Perfect now and over the next few years. 17

Charles Metcalfe: Rich, opulent, quite complex aromas, of honey, butter, tropical fruits, and nuts. Ripe, rich, but balanced by very good acidity. A difficult blend to identify, but probably has some Chardonnay, maybe Viognier. Falls a little short on the finish, but good, enjoyable wine, with some barrel-fermentation notes. 15.5

Joanna Simon: Ripe, fresh nose with sweet vegetal notes. Sweet, fleshy, rich red-apple palate, with spicy, peppery notes. Succulent, fresh, medium intensity and length. 16
