Richard Mayson: Open, mature, and ripe on the nose; very rich and sweet in style; butterscotch fruit; honest in that the acidity seems natural leading to a soft, ripe buttery finish that tails off. 14
Charles Metcalfe: Lovely and subtle, with aromas of flowers and apricots. Could this be Viognier? A hint of smoky oak as well. Rich and opulent, with a balancing note of apricot kernels and a whiff of charred oak. Rich, full-throated style, but flavors are tremendous, and there is balance. 16
Joanna Simon: Coconutty, vanilla-scented oak overlaying fresh, grassy, green fruit on both nose and palate. Oak-smoothed and custardy oak flavors dominating the palate, but crisp apple-pear fruit underneath. 15
