Richard Mayson: Ripe but seemingly loose-knit on the nose, verging on tropical, with melon and mango, big and ripe, fruit not terribly expressive on the palate, but a rather oaky-toasty finish with sufficient acidity to keep it alive. Doesn’t quite hang together. 14
Charles Metcalfe: Light, lemony, appealing aromas. Maybe some Moscatel here, with a strongly lemony note. High acidity, a touch of understated barrel fermentation. Slightly hinting toward lemon boiled sweets but pleasant. 13
Joanna Simon: Lots of oak influence (nose and palate), but with intense, sweet-sharp apricot fruit. Big, full, broad palate with concentrated, spicy, honeyed apricot fruit and an unctuous texture offset by balancing acidity. 16.5
