BUY THE WINE

Richard Mayson: Attractive, savory, ripe Burgundian aromas, with a creamy/toasty edge; full, verging on subtropical fruit, yet fresh with lovely minerally acidity suggesting ripe, high-altitude fruit. Not a long keeper but a wine for the next three years or so. 16

Charles Metcalfe: Lemon marmalade and oak aromas. Palate is dominated by the oak, though there are good, citrussy flavors as well. Acidity is high, and oak is too present for my taste. 10

Joanna Simon: A lot of coconutty oak on both nose and palate. Good depth of ripe, fresh green fruit and laser-like acidity on the palate to offset it, but still the oak dominates. 15.5
