Richard Mayson: Heady and rather flat on the nose; big, ripe, warm-country flavors backed by oak, leading to an almost sweet-and-sour finish, with so much ripe fruit and acidity. 13.5
Charles Metcalfe: Almost a milk-chocolate/malty character to this, which must be oak-related. The balance is good, with pleasant pineapple and lemon flavors. Alcohol is high but more or less balanced by the acidity and fruit. Slightly disjointed, but the flavors are good. 14
Joanna Simon: Fresh apple and vanilla-edged nose. Broad, fat palate, with unctuous texture off-set by acidity and mineral notes. Quite good acidity but lacks a bit of length and precision. 15
