Michael Schuster: Freshly ripe fruit, with a hint of herbaceousness (the Cabernet Franc?); rich, vital, full-bodied, firmly tannic Pomerol; sweet in fruit, long and gently spicy to taste, a powerful wine, but subtle and complex as well, with a wealth of flavor, a spicy complexity, and great length, too. Will need plenty of time but be very satisfying eventually. Fine, complete, long-term Pomerol. 2025–35+. 18+
