Andrew Jefford | Dark black-purple, though no longer opaque. Fresh and curranty scents: bright and beguiling, though not particularly complex. Cool, fresh, fine-drawn, and intense, and a lovely lozenge-like thrum of blackcurrant. Almost sherbetty—it’s that fresh. Drink soon, in deep draughts. | 88

Michael Schuster | Closed and minerally to smell; elegantly balanced, fresh, silky, medium-full wine; sweetly ripe, graceful, easy, harmonious Margaux, a lovely fruit, a fine texture, nice length of flavor and finish. Very Margaux, very sensible winemaking in the year. Delicious already, but no hurry, and likely to age gracefully, too. Now to 2035+. | 92
