Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Beautifully wrapped, full and silky mouth, precise tannins that know how to support without being tough; length and stuffing. | 17.5

Michael Schuster | Dark purple; a dense, complex nose of ripe blackberry, oak, minerals; beautifully balanced, elegant, concentrated, medium to full wine, with a fresh acidity and discreet, particularly fine-textured tannin; not a big wine, by Eglise-Clinet standards, but very complete at its size. Intense in flavor, gently mouth-coating, mainly with perfume, but with a lovely ripe red-fruit core; long, racy and fragrantly complex to taste, with a most seductive floral persistence. 2022–32. | 18
