Andrew Jefford | Dark, near-opaque black-red in appearance. Vigorous, juicy black fruits with some ground black-pepper spice and sweet if discreet oak: an enticing range of scents here. Dark, vivacious, and mouthwatering, with ample cherry and blackcurrant fruit, crisply defined. Lithe, fresh, and long: an exciting mouthful, though little backing tannins or structure; all the energy lies inside the acidity. Refreshing claret for the next half-decade or so, but after that the acidity may start to obtrude. | 89
Michael Schuster | Still quite closed on the nose; medium-full, fresh in acidity, light in tannin. On the lighter side, but there is ripe fruit here, a limited complexity, and some length. It’s on the leaner side in the year but with good light length. Best in the freshness of youth. Now to 2026. | 86
