Simon Field | Full old gold color, viscosity tapering the glass; nose of soft coconut, quince, lanolin, and a hint of verbena. The definition on the palate is less precise, the weight of sugar threatening the structure, slightly abrupt on the finish. More concentration and weight than some of its peers, it has to be said... | 88

Andrew Jefford | Glowing deep straw-gold. Honey, marzipan and damp leaves/wet card: minor-key aromas (developing TCA issues from cork). Sweet but a touch heavy, with that damp-leaf/ wet-card weightiness apparent on the palate. The sweetness and generosity are satisfying, however, and there is acidity for balance, too. A bottle with a better cork may have merited a higher score. | NS
