Jasper Morris: Pale bright color; oak on the first nose, but doubtless the Montrachet fruit will cope. It does. Though the oak remains apparent throughout this wine, there is also an excellent concentration of fruit and exceptional length. It seems a bit too early to judge. Even with air this remains terribly backwards, but it does deliver an astonishing intensity. 18
