Jesús Barquín: Slightly less deep color. The nose offers meat stew and concentrated ripe black fruit. Very pleasant and harmonious mouthfeel, relatively delicate but well structured (earthy tannin, good acidity) and excellent fruit expression. Long finish that retakes the concentrated stew and a smoky note. 16
Nicolas Belfrage: Relatively bright, mid-intensity color. Quite persistent cherry ice-cream nose. A simple but pleasurable wine of no great concentration but great and immediate drinkability. This is the punter’s Amarone, yet not without finesse. 16
Andrew Jefford: Relatively lightly colored against its peers: clearing garnet. Slightly funky/stewy in aroma. Tangy, light flavors: drink up. 11
