Jesús Barquín: The nose is taken over by alcohol and vegetal notes, which are revisited in the palate, together with powerful—even aggressive— tannins. Not very complex or attractive. 12

Nicolas Belfrage: Deep, almost opaque. Cherry nose, inviting. A wine of parts: firm acid, ripe if apparent tannins, a good dollop of sweetness on finish, and cherry fruit throughout. Good example, if not inspiring. 15.5

Andrew Jefford: Dark, glowing black-red in color. Livid, lively black fruits with some licorice spice: clove and mace. Full, round, satisfying; slightly soupy in style, but with satisfactory weight, concentration, and persistence. Good wine. 14
