Jesús Barquín: Intense and very concentrated—in fact, too raisiny for my taste. Notes of wild berry yogurt and some VA. Alcohol-dominated finish. Oversized and excessive in style. 14

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth, with reflections. Alluring cherry-essence nose. Palate a little lax; ripe tannins and good acidity but a certain lack of focus. Drinking now for a few years. 14

Andrew Jefford: Dense black-red in color. Exuberant, sweet, almost fudgy, as if the cherries were embedded in baked sugar; attractive if slightly obvious. Soft, gentle, open; relatively dilute, though, compared to the best of its peers. 12
