Stephen Brook: Straw. Attractive stone-fruit nose, quite heady and floral. Quite rich and plump on the palate, with lush stone fruits. There’s sufficient acidity to keep any hint of blowsiness at bay, and the exotic character of the fruit comes through strongly. It’s finely tuned and precise, with a firm clean finish. Good length. 16.5

Alex Hunt: A lovely aroma, if atypical for the variety, brimming instead with lime leaf, cantaloupe melon and mint. On the palate, too, this comes across as fat Riesling rather than Viognier. It’s delicious, balanced, moreish—just be aware that it shows almost no characteristics of the variety whatsoever! 14.5

Andrew Jefford: Mid depth of green-white-gold. This, to me, smells more like East Coast Semillon than Viognier: an early pick? On the palate, very simple fruit-salad flavors. I’d find this an effort to drink. Simple, confectionary wine. 10
