BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Light straw-gold. Ripe yet very restrained peachy nose. Broad and plump, a soft style with fairly low acidity, leaving it lackluster on the mid-palate. There’s decent fruit here but not enough energy to drive it through to a convincing finish. 14

Alex Hunt: A strange patchwork here: evolved golden color, confected floral and apple aromas, rich attack on the palate, peaking to surprisingly fresh acidity, then a blunt, flat finish. This wine isn’t quite centered. 13

Andrew Jefford: Full, even, deep gold. Booming, deep, slightly brassy aromas: ripe stone fruit with a faintly metallic edge. On the palate, it is sweet, soft, low acid, recognizably varietal, but a little tangy and confectionary-like. 12
