Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth, with some turn on palate. Blackberry and cherry on nose. Lovely Sangiovese style on palate, refreshing acidity and mature fruit balanced by firm but ripe tannins. Very good length, almost a creamy texture but with definite lift on back palate. 17.5
Bruno Besa: Lively garnet to pink rim. Seductive, clean, persistent nose of Bing cherries and aromatic herbs, with hints of fresh tobacco, cedarwood, and orange marmalade. Balanced, clean palate, with lingering small red fruits and lively clean finish. 17
Stephen Brook: Deep to very deep red. Fresh zesty sour-cherry nose, ripe Sangiovese fruit. Medium-bodied, silky, and fresh, with fine acidity and a racy edge. Tangy and vigorous rather than super-ripe and fleshy but none the worse for that. There’s little complexity here, but it seems balanced and refreshing. Quite long. 16.5
