Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth, slight turn. No great aroma but quite classic on palate, with firm acidity and tannin structure. Slightly drying but not too bitter; flavor rides long on acid. Not an immediately attractive wine that could grow on you. 16
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to pink rim. Broad, spicy nose with complex mineral personality; mature yet lively red fruit with hints of tobacco leaf. Medium nose with sweet red-fruit palate, fresh acidity, and delicate finish. 17.5
Stephen Brook: Deep red. Lush, smoky black-cherry nose, quite dense. Fresh attack, limpid, moderately concentrated, but lively and balanced. A graceful rather than powerful style that I find very appealing. The acidity is quite high, but that will stand it in good stead. Balanced and long, and very elegant. Chianti? 17.5
