Nicolas Belfrage: Medium deep, some turn. Herb and wood on nose. Fruity and somewhat creamy on palate, ripe and drinkable; should last a few years 15
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny. Very refined elegant nose with small red fruits, violets, fresh strawberry compote, and hints of fresh mint and sage. Elegant, persistent, and clean palate with defined red fruit and sufficient tannins to make it into a great example of Sangiovese. 17.5
Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Dumb nose. Rich, velvety, sleek, with quite good acidity to balance the super-ripe fruit. Yet it seems rather one-dimensional and lacking in nuance. The tannins are ripe and give good structure, and perhaps it just needs more time to show more complexity and to shed some of that solidity. 16.5
