Nicolas Belfrage: medium depth, bright. Whiff of cherry on nose, mainly fruit, touch of wood. Bright Sangiovese acidity, ripeish tannins, and a fresh, sweet finish. Nicely drinkable now for a few years. No great length but very pleasant. 15.5

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet, with orange highlights. Clean, attractive nose of Bing cherries and citrus peel, with hints of Mediterranean herbs and cinnamon. Soft, juicy palate yet a touch simple and lacking structure and length. 15

Stephen Brook: Deep to very deep red. Lush black-cherry nose, very ripe. Broad, fleshy, generous, and juicy, but with some stylish acidity to perk it up. Accessible, but has the structure to ensure a good future. Good length. 16.5
