Andrew Jefford | Saturated dark black-red, still opaque at the core. Red and black fruits, both, and an oak-leaf or beech-leaf tone falling though the wine like a green sunbeam—both fresh and warm, in other words. Lively and articulate, forthcoming, though the fruit doesn’t quite have the concentration and resonance of the best of its peers. It is a zesty, juicy wine, though, with a little more ripeness than many and fine, accessible tannins; very enjoyable to drink. | 88
