Michael Schuster: A dense combination of fruit, oak, mineral to smell; rich, generous, concentrated wine, beautifully balanced in a fairly muscular style for St-Julien; very firmly, but very finely tannic, with a saturation of fruit supporting and balancing that structural frame; sweet, generous, long, and complex to taste, long and aromatic to finish; great, classic Las-Cases in the making. Up with the first growths. 2028–50+. 18.5
