Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Great finesse of floral and lightly exotic Sauvignon aroma, very well balanced, saline finish, lots of nerve and freshness; superbly vinified, but will be less powerful and complete than the great vintages of the beginning of the millennium. | 16.5

Michael Schuster | Intense, concentrated, ripe grapefruit and mineral Sauvignon Blanc nose; bone-dry, direct-fruited, minerally wine, with the year’s characteristically high acidity; ripe but withatouch of austerity, long and fine to taste, but very taut and a touch austere behind the great tenacity of flavor; long and lemony to finish. A very good rather than a top Pavillon blanc. 2018–28. | 17
