BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Perfect color, great smooth texture, very civilized tannins, great length—a model wine for Margaux of natural greatness. | 17.5

Michael Schuster | A firm, linear and finely tannic constitution; complex, long, and fine, freshly ripe in flavor, slightly edgy in acidity, and with excellent minerally fragrant length. A more austere style of Palmer, complete and with plenty of aromatic interest if not a great deal of charm. Will need more time than most. 2020–30. | 16.5
