Matthew Hemming | Dense and serious perfume of spice, barrel toast, and reduction. Beautiful, sweet, and expansive fruit beneath (I think this must be Comte Liger-Belair). The fruit has persistence and a fruit spice that's not entirely barrel-derived. Rich and yet light on its feet. A perfumed and peppery finish, with crisp fruit focus and a mineral edge to the tannin. | 94
